OUR COMMON A’s
TO YOUR NIMBUS Q’s

Technically, our vehicles are classified as motorcycles, but because of the three wheels and safety features they can be driven with a standard driver’s license and without a helmet (in most places.)

Our vehicle has the safety features of a car— a high-strength steel and thermoplastic shell, frontal airbags, and intelligent sensors to help you avoid accidents. The Nimbus Balance system makes our vehicle as easy to drive as a car. Plus, you'll be comfortable in the enclosed cabin, no matter the weather.

At 34" or 86cm wide, we are less than half the width of a Smart car. That means you can maneuver through traffic much faster and park anywhere a motorcycle can. If you already have designated parking space for a car, you can most likely fit a Nimbus within the same space. (Oh, and insurance costs are also typically lower. Win-Win!)

Our anticipated delivery date is in 2024. Thereafter, sales locations will launch based on customer demand. Sign up for our newsletter for updates!

If you’ve driven a car, then you can drive a Nimbus! All you’ll need is a standard driver’s license in most places. Our vehicle is controlled with a steering wheel, brake, and accelerator pedals, just like a car.

Nimbus Balance is our proprietary technology which allows our narrow vehicle to maintain its stability. The Nimbus is driven with a steering wheel just like a car but the vehicle maintains its balance by leaning into turns. The system naturally returns the vehicle to an upright angle and is aided by sensors and actuators. There is always a direct mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the steering action of the vehicle and operates like the steering system in a car.

In addition to the Nimbus Balance system, which allows any driver to easily operate our vehicle, the Nimbus is equipped with frontal airbags, an Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) that provides Automated Emergency Braking and Lane Departure Warning, ABS, traction control, combined braking, and a high-strength steel and aluminum alloy structure with a frontal crumple zone. We will be providing over-the-air updates which will improve the vehicle safety over time. Many of the ADAS sensors are also designed to be modular so that the vehicle remains future-ready.

Much like the experience of riding a bicycle or a motorcycle, Nimbus vehicles lean into corners. The driving experience becomes completely natural and intuitive within a short amount of time behind the wheel. Because the Nimbus is equipped with a traditional steering wheel, most drivers find navigating a Nimbus through city streets and traffic easy and even fun!

We do not recommend the Nimbus One for use on the highway because it has a top speed of 50mph. Our One S model will reach a top speed of 75 mph and be highway capable.

Every Nimbus comes with an onboard charger that allows you to charge the vehicle fully overnight with a household outlet. In the future, we will also place chargers at our Nimbus Zones in selected cities.

Our anticipated delivery date is in 2024.

Yes! If you ever decide to opt-out of your deposit, the amount will be fully refunded to you, less credit card processing fees.

Because the Nimbus is expected to be the lightest fully enclosed vehicle on the market, all its essential component parts—our motors, electronics, and batteries are smaller and lighter as well. These lighter components translate into a lower price, and also makes for a vehicle that's much better for the environment.

We will give those who placed a pre-order the option to configure their vehicles several months prior to delivery. Customization options may be limited for customers who rent rather than purchase their vehicle.

Test drive opportunities are currently slated to become available in 2024.

Nimbus service centers are expected to open in our launch countries.

The Nimbus comes with a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty on batteries and a 3-year/36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty on the rest of the vehicle.

While options for financing are not yet set in stone, Nimbus anticipates offering financing through major financial institutions.

You will be able to insure your Nimbus through most major car and motorcycle insurance carriers.
